McKenna loses another Tooth

She told me it was too bright to open her eyes for a picture. She is getting pretty rich from all these teeth.

The Polar Express

We have made riding the Polar Express a family tradition. I am hoping that even when my girls are 18 years old...they will still want to put on their P.J's and ride the train to the North Pole. It is a great way to start the season off...listen to the Polar Express, sing Christmas carols, see the lights at the North pole, eat cookies and milk, talk to Santa and Mrs. Claus, and receive the first gift of Christmas. So much fun! The girls are looking for the lights at the North Pole.
Carrington receives her first gift of Christmas.
The girls dressed and ready to ride.
Look who we saw at the Polar Express..lijah as Carrington says it.

McKenna is baptized

McKenna, Nana, and Pawpaw
Meme, Papa, and McKenna
Pop, Nene, and McKenna
Our whole family....I really have too many words to write concerning this special day. You see about 10 years ago, Scott and I stood and prayed at this alter for a baby. We had to begin infertility to receive such a precious gift. Seven years ago, we stood on this platform and dedicated McKenna Grace to the Lord. We were so proud to hold this baby in our arms. And today, we stand here with a beautiful, smart, sweet, little girl that has given her heart to the Lord and followed this act in water baptism. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and love. I want what is best for my little girl, but more important than anything is I want her to know Jesus and have a relationship with him. I am grateful for the people that stand around us in this picture...because of this heritage my children are being raised to love the Lord and to know his goodness. I am blessed abundantly. He is Faithful!

Galleria at Christmas

After visiting Santa, we had to have Peppermint milkshakes from Chick-fil-A and ride the carousel. Carrington liked her milkshake so much she needed two straws.
Hadleigh loved it.
Got to have a cherry!
We each chose a place to visit at the Galleria...Scott-Yankee Candle, Shea-Hallmark, McKenna-Justice, Carrington-the escalator and elevator, and Hadleigh chose the carousel. When it was time to go we heard music and saw snow falling from the sky. The girls enjoyed playing in the snow for a brief time.

Black Eye

Carrington got a black eye from a little boy throwing books in children's church. Wouldn't you know we had pictures scheduled that week. Too bad...we had to reschedule.
